Race times
Under 10s: 10.30am for 10mins
Under 12s: 10.45am for 15mins
Youths/Novice Women: 11.15am for 25mins
Seniors/Juniors/Veterans/Women: 12.15pm for 50mins
The duration of the races may change depending on the conditions
Entry fees
Under 10/12s: £1
Youth: £5
Novice Women: £6 (plus a £3 surcharge for non BC members)
Juniors: £8 (plus a £3 surcharge for non BC members)
Seniors/Veterans/Women: £10 (plus a £3 surcharge for non BC members)
Entry is on the day
Competitors over the age of 16 must either hold a valid BC membership card and present this when signing on or pay an event surcharge of £3
Age categories for 2011
Under 8 - born in 2004 or later
Under 10 - born in 2002 or 2003
Under 12 - born in 2000 or 2001
Youth Under 14 - born in 1998 or 1999
Youth Under 16 - born in 1996 or 1997
Junior - born in 1994 or 1995
Senior - born in 1993 or earlier
Veteran - born in 1971 or earlier
Veteran 50 - born 1961 or earlier
Women - born in 1995 or earlier
Regulations
- Any type of bike may be used as long as it is in good condition and not a danger to the rider or other riders
- Disc brakes are permitted
- Bar-end extensions are not permitted
- A hard-shell helmet must be worn at all times on the course and when warming up
- 30mins is allowed before each race for competitors to pre-ride the course; this must not be done while a race is in progress
- All race starts are gridded according to rider ability
- Riders may service bikes and change wheels and/or bikes during a race but only in the designated pit area; riders must continue round the course (in the direction of the race) to the pit area and cannot double back if they have just passed it
- The handing up of bottles is not permitted
- A rider deliberately leaving the course will be deemed to have retired from the race

League rules
- Riders over 16 who wish to be eligible for League points must hold a valid BC membership card and i) live in Wales or ii) be affiliated to the Welsh League
- If you start a race but do not finish you will be given 0 points but it will count as a qualifying race for your final League position
- To qualify for an overall League position you must enter 6 events plus the final; if you enter more your 6 best results plus the final will determine your League position
- Only one prize (of greatest value) will be awarded to a rider e.g. if a Veteran is 3rd in the S/J/V/W race and 1st Veteran he will only be awarded the 1st Veteran prize
